My dearly departed mother used to make turkey noodle soup after Thanksgiving. She also used to put some leftover turkey in gravy and make open face hot turkey sandwiches. Those were the days.
this reminded me of why I don't eat turkey around Thanksgiving. while growing up, for approximately 2 weeks my parents would make every turkey dish imaginable. All this while being supplied with a turkey sandwich for lunch 😅

I make homemade dumplings and put it in leftover turkey you cook it down the same way just put homemade dumplings make your dumplings or you can use canned biscuits but I'd rather for the homemade I love it

My mom didn't waste food and I don't either. I love soups, stews, casseroles, sandwiches, pot pies, and even hash made from leftovers. This is in addition to freezing a portion of the meal for a later date. 😋

Awesome! The bone broth is full of nutrients. Use fettuccine noodles & they don't get mushy. I took years for me to figure that out.
