yes, the minority can do anything that they put their mind to but there's always barriers put up to prevent them from doing it and white people are going to have the money and the people behind them to make sure that what they want to happen is going to happen. it's not that easy for a minority. it makes no sense trying to convince them that they have privilege because it hasn't been there experience not to have it.

I think I finally understand the victim mentality in its full effect and how dangerous it actually is. This young lady knows that there's nothing a white person can do that she can't. But if she has a victim mentality, subconsciously that could hold her back. We need to move away from any policy that supports DEI or reparations because they enforce and support the idea of being a victim. These are guilt, ridden, brush off polices that are actually doing more harm than good to people of color.

I think she is a very intelligent and polished, polite young lady. She was raised right by obviously caring adults who put raising their children up right a priority. Has she endured some prejudice and being made to be feel less than others at points in her life? I would think she most likely has. And her parents were probably growing up in the age where things are not like they are now. I was. And they made their children aware of the situations they were potentially facing outside of their home. But things have changed. It’s a start. But now she is in college being taught many things in entire semesters, new ideas. She is expressing her feelings/teachings, and asking what are important questions to her. There is nothing wrong with that. Don’t judge her without taking that history and teachings in consideration. I broke the family’s attitudes at age 12-15, don’t say that word in front of me. I have raised 3 boys who do not view race as a reflection of one’s character.
