I used to put cat food out for the strays and the little town I lived in mailed me a letter telling me I wasn't allowed to do that anymore and then I think they stole the strays and put them down! Sick world we live in. Two cats afraid of their own shadows who didn't bother anyone makes me sad to this day just thinking about it.

I got taken to court because I fed stray cats. On the stand I told them that they were trampling my 1st Amendment rights. My religion says I must take care of all of God’s creatures. The suit was thrown out of court

We've been feeding feral and dumped cats for 12 years. We get them spayed and neutered on our own dime. We feed opossums and a one-eyed tailess raccoon when they come buy. We even had a small fox come by and eat with the gang. A pot bellied pig is probably someone's dear pet. Pigs are smarter than dogs and are extremely affectionate. I hope that kind woman snags the little pig and puts the word out. The cat wasn't afraid because the pig didn't give out aggressive signs. He would most likely eat with the kitties. Raccoons often do, but we keep them separate around food and cats. They can become highly aggressive. Opossums are just cute little fellows that rarely bother anyone.

Several years ago when I lived in out in the country on a road that went to the river bottom. People were forever throwing out cats and kittens. At one point I had 19 cats on my 4 acres. I would take them to the vet and get them spayed or neutered. I had cats under the house, in the storage shed, in the barn and I always had my inside cat. I had a wonderful vet who worked with me charging me only for the cost of supplies. He has passed since then and I miss him so much. I live in town now and through the years my cats died or a one time coyotes killed several. Two of my cats I still have are rescues then back in July someone tossed out a tiny black female kitty. She is doing great and is to have her surgery at the end of the month. These cats are inside kitty’s as I live on a busy street. My 2 little dogs are inside kitty’s also although they get to go on long walks and stay out on my large porch that is screened in. I love my animals and they got me through my son and husbands death.

We get armadillos. I thought at first it was just possums tearing up my yard, the saw the large creature. It digs holes large enough to cause someone to trip and fall. And, unfortunately, it digs everything back up I fixed during the day! I've got a couple of traps out, but it's smart enough to avoid them.

I feed 4 feral cats on my front porch. They all have names...lol...and now they have a heated kitty condo on the porch, with a heating pad in it 💕

We have an Animal Welfare League that takes strays in and spays or neuters them and returns them. Mama kitties get fostered with their babies and adopted.

Why you ask because FEEDING is BREEDING... that is why shelters are busting at the seams And even no tell shelters are having to put animals down, cats mainly too because people feed and feed and feed and they feel it's okay to start a family. Please read about the exponential population growth in other countries of cats. To the point of causing destruction even to their way of life and economy. You don't have to put cats and I don't know... You can TNR them...TRAP (LIVE) - NUETER - RELEASE... We all should do our part for these animals welfare. Thank you 💕
