I think most Americans in the past have advocated for term limits for members of congress. Why do we have members in their 70s,80s, and 90s that barely show up to do the job and are out of touch with societal changes.
Maybe we should cap your net worth. Like, once you've moved from a freshman congressman and former bartender with an initial net worth of $200K to a fortune of over $30M in less than 6 years, your time in Congress is up.
