It's a hypogeomys megas or coconut rat. They are also called uromys vika or coconut-crackers. It's a guinea pig sized animal native only to Vangunu Island in the Solomon Islands. It's critically endangered due to forestry removal. It burrows into fruit like coconuts (not grocery store coconuts) to eat. It has zygodactyl toes, two that face forward and two that face backwards, that help them grasp on to the hard fruits. The person in the video is most likely removing it so it can be relocated. They are the prey of feral cats so they won't be found on the ground so only in trees that have this fruit. I hope this brings clarity as to what it is! God bless, everyone! 👍🙂
