My mamma taught me to pee sitting down when not using a urinal. Out of consideration, cleanliness, and respect, the toilets in my home aren't decorated or sprayed with misdirected urine. ...AND you guys out there can make all the "sissy" coments you want, but I had a happy mother and grateful wife!
For those who don’t understand u put liquid soap on the caps because human piss gets inside of there to when the housekeepers come to clean it after guest check out all she got to do is rinse it whit water and dry it or it will smell like piss on the long run if u have kids especially boys at home open yours up i bet it got piss stains and it’s sticky and smells and it becomes a bacterial health hazard and if yours is full whit piss sticky come back and give me a like 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

I'm a housekeeper and have no clue why she's doing that! You open the tabs and clean it with vinegar or bleach, that soap is going to ooze out a yellow color and be thick and smell, not to mention it will draw attention to that part of the toilet, disgusting! Clean them and dry them, then close them. Most people clean them when yellow is surrounding them which is urine. Urine destroyer works also by resolve. I may try the essential oil idea on a cotton ball because you don't want the screw in there to stay wet. It will rust and never come out. Glad I'm not the only one that is very confused , by the way, housekeepers aren't stupid , people are.... which could be a Dr, lawyer, housekeeper, autoworker, any job!!!!! 😜
when I clean the toilet I ALWAYS lift those tabs & spray with chlorox cleanup or other bleach based cleaner & use an old toothbrush to scrub it. How do u not know to clean them

You risk causing the underlying hardware (screws) which attach the lid to the toilet to become loose or worse, to rapidly deteriorate. Why not just wipe the nasty out instead of adding soap and leaving the nasty? Duhhhh
