A friend of mine has a cat that she's had for nearly 10 yrs and she has never dranked water out of her water bowl...She goes to the bathroom sinks and raises the handle and drinks water out of spigot... Always has ever since they got her when she was 8 weeks old... She is so smart and she honestly believes that she's human, my friend mixes a small package of wet food and a scoop of dry food and stirs it and smashes it all together and she takes her little paws and dips it in her bowl and feeds herself.... lol

i don’t intentionally let my cats out. but one was a street cat i took in, and he sneaks out once in a while. i notice when he bangs at door to be let in. cats are smarter than most people realize

it should poop on the floor for making it wait like that but it'll show it's human love anyway because it's forgiving and loves it's human more than it's human loves it obviously. cats really are intelligent creatures well beyond most of the animal species.

We feed several feral cats in our neighborhood and they knock on our door when they get to our house for food. Cats just figure out things that humans do and imitate what they see. We had a cat who was obsessed with getting into a box that we had interlocked the flaps on, and a friend reached out and opened the box for her, and we no longer could keep her out of any box. l love the amazing intelligence of cats.
