People get too comfortable when they’re wearing gloves. They touch everything, and don’t wash the gloves for anything. Gloves are much more likely to spread cross contamination than bare hands, bc most people in a restaurant environment wash their hands multiple times a day. Gloves only protect the wearer from getting random bacteria on their hands. They really don’t protect the public, unless the worker puts on new gloves to interact with every customer.
