I've seen this video before, bro. And I'm not gonna lie this s***'s fake. There's no way unless you have a real sharp ax that you could do this. I know I've been doing this for 30 years.\n And I've tried this And it doesn't work

When I first saw this years ago I thought “wow that’s skill!” Now I’m working in trades my first thought is “Nails for drywall is not to code” 😆

Holy crap. I found one of those crazy hatchet/hammer tools when my dad passed years ago. I am 54 and never knew what it was used for until just now. I’ll be damn!!!

This is professional. Today’s labor force is about speed and money. The old days shit was built to last.

I love how the nails would pop out of the drywall. I miss it.

That's why he's a craftsman.

That's how we did sheetrock installation in the 70s. Now my boys know how to do this.

These are trades. With them there were tricks and shortcuts that provided an easier install but with no loss in quality. This was lost due to free trade and unions not to mention illegal immigration. A working system needs to be left alone. Just like our country up until about 1990

well to be honest Yes we did get better cuz we have more tools and I could do all those arches and everything just like him yeah granted he does it with one ax which is the drywall ax or the drywall hammer however you want to call it but yeah it's pretty cool to see him do it back then it's still the same way now but a lot more different
