I think kids would be better off having a dog
We got GSD pup when my daughter was 3 they were best friends un separable. One day I was in kitchen and heard the pup yelp. Iwent running to see what happened evidently pup nipped her in playing not hard but a puppy nip that can still hurt! I asked Lisa what happened she said ‘Corby bite I bite back’ I asked where he bit her she pointed to her arm no marks I then said where did you bite him she pointed to his nose! He never nipped again lol
The puppy was experimenting like a baby. Don't you see the puppy's reaction as the baby starts laughing at him? The puppy almost smiles. His mouth is open, yes, but he is not biting. They are close to each other. lol
Mama don't be stupid do not let these dogs get close to your baby mouth it's disgusting when you let dogs do this.

Harass (yes, HARASS) your local and federal governments until they start taking these issues seriously: Ban backyard breeding.
