We got GSD pup when my daughter was 3 they were best friends un separable. One day I was in kitchen and heard the pup yelp. Iwent running to see what happened evidently pup nipped her in playing not hard but a puppy nip that can still hurt! I asked Lisa what happened she said ‘Corby bite I bite back’ I asked where he bit her she pointed to her arm no marks I then said where did you bite him she pointed to his nose! He never nipped again lol

What’s wrong with people I love 💕 dogs have owned dogs 🐕 for years but I would NEVER allow a puppy to get that close to a baby. They have sharp teeth and not to mention their claws. Too close for comfort.

Puppies DEFINITELY HAVE TEETH by the age of that pup. while in this case the baby wasn't hurt, I certainly wouldn't consider this safe for baby or puppy. I investigated dog bites for many years as an Animal Control Officer, spending far too much time in local ERs with children who were facing surgeries to (hopefully) repair lips, cheeks, noses and ears due to dogbites, most often from the family pet who "never did anything like that before". I am also a parent and now grandparents as well as a dog breeder for over 45 years. I would NEVER place my puppies or a baby into a situation like this. No matter how 'cute' it simply isn't safe. Puppy hasn't learned bite inhibition yet and the baby has yet to learn hand control and to be 'gentle'.
Question: Is that dog attacking that baby?
