I love me some okra I grew up on some okra and we either had it fried or in Black eyed peas with cornbread things like that it always was the best tasting that way I don't know about nobody else but it was absolutely delicious and still to this very day I still cook okra in my beans and sometime have it fried

Fried in bacon grease with bacon cut up with dice onions, diced green peppers seasoned: stewed or diced tomatoes and little tomato sauce cooked until tender. Fried in cornmeal and flour; pickled : steamed with peas or beans Acquired taste : either love it or hate it. No one in my household eats it but me.
