This doesn't look safe at all. If you have a small framed child that let's say, she/he is 4 or 5 yr's old or younger, then that may be okay, because it can be hard for them to keep up with you and by doing this, you won't have to be concerned about them running off and getting lost in a sudden crowd of people. As for an adult who needs help walking from one area to another, especially at an airport, they should check with the customer service about getting a scooter or wheelchair to help get them around.

Might be a good idea for kids, smallish ones, but I don't think regular luggage is strong enough for a grown up. It could turn out to be a mess, for sure!!
