You can’t beat a Peterbult with a Cat. My old man put 2.75 million on it and was like a Cadillac still. He hauled chemicals where he needed police escorts if he got near any population size. Hauling liquid is one bad beating for a truck. God bless our truckers who are citizens

He’s adorable. I admire and respect these drivers. I drive the PA Turnpike every day and see the stupid stuff people in cars do. I had 2 trucker angels with me when I had to get to Long Island when my daughter was having twins. It was a blizzard, they warned people to stay off the roads but I had to get there. The PA Turnpike was empty, I couldn’t see the lines in the road it was snowing so hard. I couldn’t see, I could only go about 15 mph. Soon 2 trucks appeared. One went in front of me and made a pathway. The other stayed behind me. We were the only people on the road. We were together across PA onto the NJ Turnpike then up to NY. We parted ways when we got to the other side of the GW bridge. I headed to LI they continued north. I didn’t get a chance to thank them but I will NEVER forget them. My guardian angels. Thank you.

I drove tractor trailer for 20 years, but logged about half of what you did @ 1.75 million miles. Unfortunately, arthritis caught up to me and had to change professions. God Blessed you with good health so that you could give back to your Country via hauling freight. Thank You Again. 🙏🏼

I drove my last truck for 16 years. ‘89 KW, 350 Cummins/9 spd. Bought it used. The odometer had already flipped, then I flipped it twice. They’re built to be worked on. All components can be rebuilt.

long at the block don't crack theoretically you can rebuild it as many times as you want, just resleve the cylinders when they wear thin and keep the frame clean from too much rust. if you put effort into basic upkeep and wash it really good once a week and once a month wash the inside of the frame and you can make a truck last your whole driving
