Unless someone actually saw her put something in her belt, she can't be detained. It's funny how shoplifters have more rights than the store. Stupid place to put a manikin. That's actually a safety issue. If that had injured her - shoplifter or not - she could have sued.

An alarm goes off probably from a mannequin falling but she's in the doorway and the alarm doesn't go off until she goes back to the mannequin. If she had something she wasn't supposed to wouldn't the alarm go off when she is by the doors and it goes off before she goes back the second time so it doesn't just go off only if the doors open

no. the alarm would have went off went she walked to the door. she turned around to pick up the legs & alarm went off then - the sensor tag on the jeans set it off.

I do not believe so. The alarm didn't start to go off until the mannequin fell across the sensor. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I'm going to just leave but I will tell you this spell check patrol is maddening......who cares if we understand what people are saying. most of us are busy and just trying to make a commit...,but someone on the s.c. patrol just hits a nerve that just is uncalled for. 🙏
