I tried look this up and the only thing I can find is a proposal to investigate Afghan abuse of women and women’s rights in general. So I’m going to call BS. She may have been told this but it appears to be incorrect. I will make the point that the UN does, essentially, nothing. It can propose an investigation but the Afghan Taliban calls the shots. Even if they were allowed in and saw abuse what would they do about it? Nothing. Strong condemnation? Sure. Demands, not likely. Military action, not a chance.

Honestly, I don't see how 13 countries expected to "force the Taliban" to do anything the Taliban doesn't want to do.😆 Maybe DC & Jerusalem/Tel Aviv decided not to add their vote to something that is totally unenforceable given the present state of Afganistan's government & the Taliban's involvement in that government. After all, who would want to in any way legitimize an armed & ready to kill superstitious mob of religious fanatical extremists who want to reverse the whole world back to the 4th century ACE?
