Some species of catfish get enormous. This appears to be in South America. I’ve seen an American fisherman travel 10 hours up a river in Guyana to a large waterfall, where the river was 90’ deep. He hooked and landed a 450 pound catfish(weight estimated using tape measure method). Saw another of 660 pounds caught in the MeKong River in Vietnam. Sturgeon grow larger. Over 1300 pounds in both British Columbia, Canada and in Russia.
