Mine are chillin right now. I'm always being asked to borrow my dogs to find just about anything. They're trained to find people who are missing or deceased. One is trained to sniff out materials used to make IED's. The other can find illicit drugs. Most days though they just chase frisbees and squirrels. They are my only family and I treat them like the queen and kings that they are.
She wants to pet that good boy sooo bad.
Now if we could just get dogs to sniff out all the Democrats lies we would be in business! 👍🏼
I had a retired police dog do this to me one time .I was walking back to my van, and all of a sudden, this man walking a gorgeous dog, and the dog started sniffing . I had just left a little café and I had half a burger in my coat pocket .the man was the dogs old partner, and when he saw the dog was drooling, he said, "Do you have food? I sad yes we both laughed and he let me give the doggy the rest of the burger ..funny memories
a blind lady has a "guide" dog that can find the bathroom at the airport by the smell of female hormones. the first time I wrote this, I got slammed saying it wasn't a "guide" it has to be a "service" dog.. well the exact title didn't mean shit to me because that wasn't of urgency to me. I cant even tell u how many KAREN'S wanted it corrected. so just for my no memory old ass I went back to the article & I was correct it said "GUIDE" dog...so whomever knows it all & was more concerned about the correct title rather than be amazed what the fantastic dog can do. go do whatever

My Belgians can smell a raccoon or possum before it gets to my yard. Whether the windows are open or closed. They amaze me every day. And don't even think about sneaking a snack while they're in another room. Lol.

These dogs ROCK. Saw a demonstration one time and was totally in awe with all of them. Saw one jump out of a helicopter (flying very low) and chase the "bad guy" and brought him down

Once I read about a reading program that used dogs only the kids thought they were drug sniffer so, the policy was if the kids had drugs and volunteered to turn them in , no penalty so that day those reading dogs got loads of drugs turned in.🌸

They sniff out dog treats too. In Mexico an older couple (older) were detained in front of everyone luggage’s completely torn apart only to find dog treats for their dog in cargo. Lol thank god they did not have heart attacks.

Why are citizens being so focused on political comments. These police dogs are a valuable asset to safety. The dogs don't care about political loyalty. I'd like people have to sniff humans in order to identify the bad guy. He'd be sitting down in front of all of us.

my dog would be really good at this cause each time I've tried to hide his meds in his food, mixed well, even tried the little dog pouch treats to hide meds, nothing works, cause he sniffs out the medicine and he won't eat it, every time, he knows it's in there. I've had to switch to topicals instead.

My older brother breeds and trains Mals. A handler absolutely CAN signal to his dog to 'alert' on someone on command. Regardless of if the person checks clean or not.
