school bus arms should be loaded with permanent paint/dye, and the sprayers be remotely controlled by the bus driver. Start driving past a stopped school bus, and get sprayed with some hideously bright orange paint. It will be easy for the police to catch up with you.

I find it alarming how many drivers find roadlights, flashing lights, sirens, signals, signaling, laws, and road signs to be mere suggestions. This is why my motto for driving has always been "drive for five and stay alive." Meaning always be aware of the drivers in front of you, in back , on your left, on your right, and, of course yourself. Yeah.
Whoever was behind the wheel of this white vehicle, did exactly what I believe would be instinctual, at least for me. It is our instinct to protect children. Thank goodness, there are still people on this earth with a sense of humanity.💕

I've seen it where the school buses actually have a arm that comes down off of the bumper and blocks the whole Lane to the other side preventing any cars from passing and it's made of steel so it wrecks or does damage to the other car

When I had a bus full of kids I put my hazards on stopped because a deer was crossing and idiot from behind speed to go around me and in doing so smashed his windshield and deer went flying.People need to realize they are not the only ones on the road.

Some busses have cameras that are aimed at traffic both front and rear of the bus wishing that the all did😲🤔🤔🤔🤔🥰 people slow down and pay attention, about 15yrs ago my daughter was hit by a car passing a school bus with the flashers and stop sign fortunately she is now in good shape, it tore me up when I got the call at work 😲😲😲🤔👍🙏

How about adding an arm with lights that extend on both sides at the rear of the bus to cover both the left & right side of the bus?
I did that when a driver was going passed me on my right thru a traffic circle. a pedestrian was Crossing the street in front of me. I saw the car trying to speed pass me and not stop at the circle I turned hard right blocking the car from going thru and hitting the pedestrian. neither the pedestrian nor thee driver realized what I was doing until the last few seconds.
Those people make me angry. They are stupid and should lose their license or pay a big fine.

I love this! I'm always in a hurry and drive at least 80 on the freeway, and will go around drivers in my neighborhood going 25 because I want to get home today! That all being said, these are kids and I'll absolutely stop and wait as long as it takes! This also includes the senior citizen bus, and the handicapped one! Everyone has 1min to spare and be decent!
Too many drivers don’t even know what the laws are. I think there needs to be a refresher course of old laws and new laws on the road.
