OR, now this might be a little controversial, you could buy the correct tool for the job.

So they make this tool called wire strippers. They are small and fit in a tool bag with ease. But I suppose you could carry a board with a pair of nail clippers attached to it around the job site. Most of the time I just use my edc to do this job though

Did this person actually need to secure a pair of finger nail clippers, just to strip a wire? One would think the individual could have held the clippers in one hand, and the wire in the other hand.

This is for people that don’t know how to do anything! To start he hammers a pop rivet in to hold the nail clippers to the wood with the help of 2 nails and a wire to pull the clippers! Get a life you ever hear of wire strippers? You can use nail clippers if they are big enough to cut insulation off the wire if that’s all you have but you don’t need a board a hammer or pop rivet to strip the wire! 👍🏼

that's too much bro hahahaha I guess if we were post apocalyptic then sure that's great but just get $13-$15 and go to a hardware store and they'll have the right tool for stripping the plastic off copper wires

Oh, the drama. We must slowly pull the clippers thru using a cord because the final product will not function properly if you place it there by hand, Grasshopper

I just use a pocket knife. Twice as fast and don't have to use a claw hammer to remove the nails and my boss didn't have to call me a moron ... again.

hahahaha the whole thing was pointless, but the least useful bit was using string to pull it through, rather than just sliding it by hand.
