I wished I knew the story about this. Was he just being another idiot driver or did his truck break down??? Either way, I hope that the engineer of the train wasn't hurt!

He the driver was just stopped on the track like that then I hope that truck driver was charged for that! That is so dangerous, life threatening (for himself, bystanders, engineers, any railroad personnel possibly welding down the track, etc) and the cost had to be super expensive!
December 18, 2024... truck was trying to cross when the gates dropped and lights started flashing, it doesn't say "why" the truck didn't get out the way. It killed both conductors, derailed the entire train, and dumped about 9k gallons of diesel.
