I could almost garentee the reason he doesn't put it in gear and take off again to finish the race, is because moving that fast and then end up in the air spinning around with that much G-force and slamming a boat that size into the water busted something very vital to where the boat was out of commission entell it was repaired. But in all reality I Truly believe the Driver/Pilot & his partner were NOCKED THE F-ck OUT & COLD SLEEPING !!!!!OUCH,OUCH,OUCH. Praying 🙏 for them both 🙏.

We are looking at a "Jet Boat" with a closed cockpit. Closed cockpits in racing applications are a safety measure, developed after numerous accidents in open-cockpit boats, to ensure the survival and safety of the driver and throttleman during an incident. The hull of a Jet Boat is usually foam-filled, for near-unsinkable buoyancy. Although, they are not designed to roll. However, since the cockpit is sealed and the driver is sitting in roll cage, with a padded suit and a helmet, they are likely going to be OK after the Jet Boat does one or more accidental barrel rolls. This type of maneuver isn't going to break the Jet Boat (just FYI).
