The climate has been changing since the Earth was born. Whether or not the .0008% we have contributed to the atmosphere has any impact at all is complete guesswork. The reality is, it is a scary sounding thing they can rally useful idiots around to fight. It is about engineering the downfall of the West, about control, about ensuring we lost the modern AI and unmanned vehicle arms race to China. Because that is very power intensive, which is why they are adding dozens of coal plants. With no regulations.. any amount we reduce our energy and impoverish ourselves, they will add 10 fold and prosper. We should prosper and through that innovate solutions to any problems that may arise.

it's amazing that people think you could end oil use and rely only on electricity. power grids couldn't handle it if everyone drove electric cars. they have no idea that lithium has to be mined. they use construction equipment that runs on diesel fuel to do the mining. ironic
