now this is how I would de-escalate this I would say sir you're absolutely right I'm not only going to give you back your money but I'm going to give you a free drink on me okay so please forgive me I know we got your order wrong so we want to make this right so here's your money back and what kind of drink was it that you want it okay Dr pepper no problem I got you and get you a large Dr pepper you want ice or no I would de-escalated like that instead of having that man screaming and having a big thing you know at the end of the day I could pay for a large drink that's just my opinion
