My mother removed my warts this way in the 80’s and never returned. Everyone’s body is different. It’s worth a try! I’m 60 and the wart never returned.

That looks more like a mole or skin tag than a wart. Moles have roots and can grow back if not removed by a doctor and they’ll continue to grow if the mole and root aren’t removed, but skin tags can be twisted until they pop off. Warts can also be removed by putting a small piece of Duck brand duct tape on the wart and changing it every day bc it contains salicylic acid. When one of my brothers had a wart the dermatologist said to do the duct tape until the wart was almost flat with the rest of the skin on his hand and then freeze it off with that wart remover you can get at the pharmacy.

also plantar warts. OMG. I had them for over half of my life. til a old Spanish woman told me to put a banana peel on it, wrap it up for three days. I did and the wart and root was in the rotting peel
it does work on warts and the string needs to be silk...+ there's a few other things involved... old school ...people years ago did not go to a doctor to have a wart removed.. times were different and there were a lot of old fashioned remedies... I'm 80 years old and my family used a lot of them.., actually I still do.

When I was in kindergarten, I remember having three warts on my chin how embarrassing. My mom was old school as most of them are and she tied string around them and sent me off to school but sure enough they fell off and never came back. I hated those days that I had to wear the string so much face like you don’t know.
I have done this before with dental floss. It works also.
