Who thought it was a good idea to have the school bus pick up and drop off kids so close to gas stations and a busy road that's so close to an intersection and the expressway? I don't see nobody wearing a high visibility reflective vest to help the children cross the road.

This is BS. You don’t have to stop on a 4 lane highway. The children are not allowed to cross the highway. The bus ABSOLUTELY must stop on the side that the children are being released.

They got two for the price of one!! Good job guys!! My daughter gets off her bus on the opposite side of the road and I have had a few close calls crossing the street to get her! I live on a main drag and people come flying around the corner by my house at 50-60 miles an hour and it's absolutely terrifying because some people just don't care!

I didn’t see the bus flashers . Many times they pull to side of the road and don’t use flashers if none of kids are crossing the road .

Honestly, I have NEVER passed a stopped 🛑 school bus, EVER! BUT that's a major road not a suburban side street. traffic on this street moves fast and that bus is hardly noticeable when you are approaching at 45++ miles per hour. That bus shouldn't be allowed to drop kids on that major road, or at least pull into that store lot to keep the kids safe and out of harm's way... ☹️

In my state the only time traffic going the opposite direction doesn't need to stop is if there is a median in the center of the road.
