I had a buddy in college that tried getting away from the police after they raided our rowdy frat party in Memphis. the policeman was on the hood of his car telling him to stop. policeman policeman shot through the windshield and the bullet lodged in his cheek. arrested and charged. daddy had money and he got 20 years probation. he rode a bike for the next 20 years. if he got caught driving he would go to prison for 20 years. he never drove . Just biked to work and back to his home. True story. Memphis TN

This may not be real, but I know a few officers who were in this situation. On top of the car or inside. They didn't all fire shots, but probably would have been vindicated if they did.
