My uncle was diagnosed as being deaf in one ear when he was very young. When he was in his 60s, his Dr. cleaned out his ear. there was a cockroach way down his ear canal and he had to pull it out with forceps. It was preserved in a huge clump of ear wax. He could hear out of that ear again! 48 yrs in his ear!!

While sleeping one night, my sister had a small moth fly into her ear. She woke me and my mom up screaming and in a panic. The moth fluttering around in her canal was loud to her, not to mention it was in her ear. My mom ran to the living room, took one of the lamps off of our end table, unscrewed the lamp shade off, plugged the lamp into the socket in my sister's room. She then turned on the lamp, so the bulb and light would draw the moth out of my sisters ear. Amazing it worked and the moth came out to the lightbulb fluttering! What is more amazing to me was my mom's quick thinking during the moment of panic.
People would be surprised at the insects that crawl into ears. I’ve removed moths, spiders, ants, bees, cockroaches, potato bugs, leaf hoppers, silverfish, flies, ticks… It’s an almost every day occurrence.
Do any of you remember hearing about Sunjay Kapur having had a bee fly down his throat. I think it was just a few months ago, this summer. He opened his mouth to laugh and he felt something fly down his throat. Turned out to be a bee that stung him on the inside of his throat over and over again. Sunjay was a friend of Prince William who was with him when this happened. He died from the bee stings or from having a heart attack, according to the news report, they weren't sure what the cause of death was.

had a friend who was diving and a little crab got in his ear. He could feel it moving around. After he got back on boat we could see that crab start to come out then go back in, we ended up taking him to ER to get it removed.

While working at the veterinarian hospital, I had a flea get in my ear! I kept hearing it jumping in my ear and it was driving me crazy. At first, I thought I was hearing things. I finally asked the vet to look in my ear. By this time, I didn't hear anything, and when he looked it was a dead flea. I forget what he put in my ear to get it to float up and get it out! It was a relief to find out that I wasn't crazy!

my son put a BB in his ear one time and we drew it out with a magnet. Then he put a candy wrapper in his ear and I took a hairpin out of my hair and dug it out.
I had a flea that got into my ear. It was biting me and didn’t know what it was. When I got home I poured alcohol in and waited until I felt no movement, out comes on paper towel this flea was tangled up in some earwax.
Get a turkey baster and suck that booger out of there. suck it out with the vacuum cleaner
though they are not true potato bugs people still called them that i even did as a kid. but they are probably referring to roly poly's or pillbugs.

I do that in our office just put Hydrogen peroxide let sit there for 20 sec... the insect will come out quick if its still alive now for wax build up let it sit for 10 to 15 min. massage the outer ear... irrigated it with a syringe or a rubber bulp... alot the wax should come out, if it doesn't repeat the process for 10 to 15 min. and wal la...

Oh hell no that happened to me a stupid lil coache was in my ear and the further it went in boy would it hurt he got to my ear drum and ended up in the ER and they had to pull it out and that hurt even more. It is the most horrible pain in my ear.

My ex husband got out of the shower one morning thinking he got water in his ear. When he was leaving for work he said oh my gosh something is coming out of my ear. I looked and jumped back it was a big spider crawling out. He nocked it out of his ear and killed it.

When I go for physicals I normally try and get my ears flushed out for wax doctor normally ask me.
I had a friend that had a bug crawled down his ear and had it for several months and he said that he literally thought he was going to go crazy before the doctor could get it out. He said it was the most miserable pain he’s ever known.

What kind of bug is that in her ear? That's crazy, creepy, it's gonna give me nightmares. I have to sleep with a pantyhose on my head to make sure that spiders get in😆😆
I remember as a child playing with my friend. We were running, and all of a sudden, when I turned around, something flew up my nose hard. I freaked out and started screaming for my friend to get paper towel. He ran and got it and when I blew my nose, the biggest fly I had ever seen came out. He was dead thank goodness. That couldn't have been a regular fly. 🤣🥰👍🏾
