Even though discipline is necessary in parenting, seeing some of the parents laugh and smile while doing it with physical discipline strategies, is different. I have only spanked a couple of times on the hand, I didn't feel joy, or happiness in that moment at all. Even if your children can make you feel frustrated and overstimulated, I can't imagine smiling or laughing. It actually makes me feel terrible and I hurt for them.
