I want a traditional wife, it was like that for a while, we lost a source of passive income and now my wife has to work to make ends meet. Now, I help with housework even though she hates to see me do it, we are both tired when we come home, marriage is about teamwork.
my wife is a stay at home wife and she works with me to make sure our home runs smoothly but I still change my own oil do the lawn take out the trash and the kids do there own set of chores but I dont ever have to cook or wash my own clothes its a team we both put in 100% into this life we share
I work full time as a union wireman, (fancy electrician) and my wife stays home. I still come home, clean and cook. she does a lot of other stuff too. We're good. I will say this, when we go to a BBQ or a cook out, and im drinking beers with the boys, she'll make me a plate of food so I can keep having fun. she doesnt have to do that shit, but she's taken care of and so am I. We've been married for almost 12 years.
a stay at home wife should wakeup with her husband and make his breakfast and lunch while he gets ready. clean up and watch the children not sleep in and be a princess.

She has no clue what she's talking about. If you are a stay at home wife that is your job and income comes in the form of bills being paid, you are fed, and you are recieving love and affection and are given money to get clothes when you ask for money. In the 15 years my man and I have been together, I've asked for a total of 600 dollars for clothes and personal items. That's not much at all. She's just a gold digger.
A traditional wife gets up with the husband to help him get ready like breakfast and make his lunch for the day, not 10 am
I had to be stay at home dad for 6 months and I started 7 cleaned did laundry fed 4 kids all summer long. I made sure I worked as much as my wife did just at home. Stay at home doesn’t mean sit on your ass
Married 39 years, both military retirees. We never take things we do for granted. I do things she doesnt do, and she does the same. Mutual respect, and forgiveness when the other is moody. We are equal but different. We do everything together. Friends are not forever, we are. Dont drink or do drugs, they do nothing for marriages. No one to impress. We accept each other and our faults. Both hunt, fish, trapped in AK -40 below zero, now raise livestock on our ranch. Enjoy each breath and moment outside. Life is good, happy for the problems we have.
You make stay at home sound easy. Add 3 kids plus 3 of their friends at all times. Then you add in cooking cleaning running them to practices every day that's 30 mins each way then add laundry. You don't get traditional man privileges until you pop out his kids and respect him as the man of the house
yeah how about when the husband comes home after his very demanding job and he has to put up shelfs for you, Carry heavy things into the house, clean the gutters, mow the lawn, check the oil on your car, sink needs to be checked it's clogged... please we all have our roles in a marriage, cleaning. the kitchen is yours

I think her idea of a stay at homes wife is probably disrespectful to stay at home wives.
Marriage is 50/50. It cannot all fall on one person. The relationship would be more demanding than a full-time job if that was the case.

A traditional wife, Cooks, Cleans, does laundry, takes care of the kids... in other words manages the house... BUT the husband has his role of working a job and bringing home the bacon!!! It's simple but people try to make it complicating.....
If she's waking up at 10 she's not a traditional wife if you wake up at 10 who's waking up at 6 in the morning with the kid i was a stay at home dad for 2 years i woke up at 5 in the morning, every day cooked cleaned and didn't complain now. I'm the one working, and she does the same.

She’s right. But even in a traditional marriage we all have roles. I won’t allow you to mow the grass, fix the car, change the oil etc… And you won’t ask me to do the laundry, vacuum the house, clean the bathroom etc.

yea clean kitchen, clean the house do the laundry, make sure u put out dinner then sure chill by the pool take a nap whatever. just make sure I come home to dinner an a clean house. work out a little to your a little chunky

first of all traditional men were made when a loaf of bread cost a nickel,the movies were a dime, and you could buy a house for $10k. Salaries have not changed to match the inflation of goods & materials

this is why id rather be single. do a couple chores a day and cost me x amount. I'd hire a maid at that point for a couple hours and give em 50 bucks twice or 3 times a week. a traditional wife goes out and gets her hands dirty. not does dishes and sits by the pool the rest of the day.
