Easy fix, tie the bag tight around the head of the flower so there's no room for the birds to get in. It's not rocket science! Stop hurting the birds!

He's planting sunflower 's but most of then have already had the seeds removed ,if you look the flowers pods are brown so he probably going to use the seeds that are left for planting the next year's crop..My daughter and grandson planted 35 acres of sunflowers for deer the last several years ...
