Every person deserves dignity, especially in difficult times like homelessness. This situation is a real test of our humanity, not just for us but for our families and our community. Passing that test means showing compassion: talk to your homeless neighbors, learn their story, and listen with respect. Sometimes, a kind word, a little advice, or help with practical steps, like putting together a resume, can open doors to a better future. Don’t let the voices of those living in comfort drown out basic decency. People struggling need support, not judgment or threats. If possible, share food, hygiene supplies, or information about local services and shelters. If you can, help connect them with organizations that offer housing, employment training, and case managers. Above all, treat them as human beings. At the end of the day, kindness and respect are what hold our society together. Stop ✋️...close your eyes and imagine it is you, the person living on the street.. 🤔 Enough said.

You Need to 1st determine if your main concern is their occupation of a space so close to your 🏡 or the actual effects that come along with them being there such as the smells, trash & concern for your families safety being that you don't know them and if they have mental health, drug issues or criminal history. I would contact your local Police to see what can be done about it. Because another factor is that others may join them and compound your problems.

They are infringing on your privacy, your boundaries and your property. You’re not being mean you’re just setting boundaries for yourself and your family. I would’ve kicked their asses out a long time ago.

There is nothing mean about making these people leave. Family comes first and you know nothing about these people... for all you know those are drug addict pedophiles! They have no respect for you or your family or they would clean that garbage up! You know your property is their bathroom also!

This is a sad situation. I don’t mind homeless people camping near me but when they start throwing trash and shitting near my gate, it gets to be very nasty. Then on top of that one of the girls was sucking on a glass pipe right infront of my granddaughter.

Or why don’t you take them some food and help them out and help them find a more suitable place. Be helpful to cause a change for yourself.

The city has to take care of that shit. In Reno Nevada they give them a couple days notice and if they don't leave the city comes in with the police, a dump truck and a tractor and hauls all their shit to the dump.

It's just a matter of time before they will attempt to break into your house. They are typically drug and alcohol abusers. I would start by documenting their encampment, calling the police and working your way up the local government ladder until something is done. I wouldn't be as patient as you are. The homeless aren't known for being tidy.

Its very hard these days and you have been nice to let them stay behind your house but if they are starting to be loud and Aggressive at night and its starting to make your back yard smell maybe you can look into some help through your state like homeless shelters or other places and see if someone can go talk to them and offer them help so that it doesn't escalate to anything serious. you can only allow or do so much good luck

these politicians are allowing immigrants to take over to replace every citizen it's being done on purpose but if you say something your branded a racist for saying anything. it's sucks to be homeless in the United States with the lame government going after anyone living on the streets but regardless if someone is nice enough to allow them to stay on their property and they cause problems these people are taking advantage and need to leave .

Homeless people don't have the right to just set up wherever they feel like it. If they can't use the facilities provided to them such as clinics and shelters, they should be removed from the streets they pollute, cause crime on, and ruin public spaces. Homelessness should either be treated with the shelters provided or as a criminal charge with more severe penalties to keep them off the public streets. Or better yet, just ship them to Mexico so I don't have to pay for their food and shelter. Mexico sends us a lot of people, we can start sending them some, too. 🙂
