They should put one of these signs on the edge
if a pool is going to have stupid a** restrictions, like no jumping in the water, the owner should make the renters aware of that ahead of time. ive never seen a swimming pool you cant jump in. even infinity pools have drains to catch and reuse the water that goes over the edge. this is a piss poor design.
