Gloves are false sense of cleanness /sanitation. I've seen people use their gloves to touch money, wipe their face and then serve food. The gloves need to be changed frequently or washed.

IDGAF..... I'd rather know someone washes their hands on the regular vs wearing gloves bc ppl touch all kinds of stuff while wearing gloves.... If I enjoy a restaurants food I'm going there even without gloves.... don't care. I even eat dry foods like cookies or chips if I drop them.... 5 second rule applies with these types of food.... I've never gotten sick doing so!!!

Gloves are also cross contamination, the plastic is not good. It suppose when you don't wear gloves you have to wash your hands every 30 minutes. you are not allowed were watches, rings, etc.

honestly in this day and age there's no reason why any type of restaurant worker shouldn't be wearing gloves. I know there are plenty of restaurants that practice good food safety and hand washing but hand washing without clothes is never 100% accurate. I'm a cook / chef by trade and I'll be the first one to admit that who stand watching sinks in the restaurants I worked at don't always have the proper tools needed to clean your hands fully. primarily the scrubber for underneath your nails. so pretty much everywhere I work dad had a designated hand-washing sink or numerous hand washing sinks in the restaurant but 80% of them didn't have the scrubber to get under your nails. with gloves it does not matter if you couldn't get all the bacteria out from under your nails cuz you're covered.
