Did anyone try to insulate him from this unfortunate incident? Soap, cold water, and duct tape would be in his near future. He's lucky he didn't find a shortcut to a lower floor. Attics, you just can't trust them.

over 55 yrs ago,my nabor's hus and worked in a mill of which produced faber glass products. she washed her clothes,his and all her kids [as babies in the same cloths washings and to this day all her kids can handle anything fiber glass and now issues what so ever

Asbestos... Exposure occurs when asbestos-containing materials are damaged or disturbed, releasing microscopic fibers into the air that can be inhaled. There is no safe level of asbestos exposure, and related diseases have a long latency period, with symptoms often not appearing for decades. Causes: Mesothelioma, Lung Cancer, Asbestosis - leading to breathing difficulties, & Pleural disease. It was used in attics I believe all the way up until the early 90s. Usually, it was installed as granules kind of like a silver fluffy-looking ball shape but also in sheets. Very dangerous. You do not want to irritate it or be around it. Professionals use full PPR & Breathing apparatus when removing. I know because I've done it before.
Those pink asbestos sheets are way more comfortable and you can eat off of them
