This is why I don't eat meat ! Mother confined . She is treated like a machine. Absolutely no consideration for her comfort or mental well being. This is physical and mental cruelty. She will be rebred as soon as possible. If you eat meat you are supporting the cruelty of factory farming !!😡
It’s called hobbling. It’s been done for thousands of years as a way to keep animals from running away while the owner is working with them. For safety reasons to the human and animal. Animals are not hobbled for very long periods of time. Before cars a horse might be hobbled if there were nowhere to hitch it.
Actually the sow is well taken care of, she isn't in a muddy pen eating scraps, and slop! Don't eat meat fine. But don't push your agenda on others. Makes me feel guilty when I'm eating a blt! Not!! If they were not meant to be eaten, why are they so delicious? Lifelong carnivore!!😆

I dont know nothing about farming , but I appreciate the farmers for providing our meal everyday , people are so fast judging.. no one is perfect and you dont know learn before open your mouth, it's not nice to hurt people feelings , we all should know that , we are all adults .. God bless..
She's in there to prevent her from laying on the piglets. I had an old sow that I was given to me at the stockbarn. Didn't realize that she was bred therefore I didn't need that for the piglets. One day I went to feed it was a terrible sight. She laid on and killed all 25 piglets 😲

The sow is in there to protect her babies. Otherwise she would crush them when she lays down. As in squish them against the wall. It is a really nice pen, drains well and is designed to keep the pigs clean and safe.

The pig is getting a bath and seems to be enjoying itself. The water is apparently clean and a comfortable temperature, which is why the take caregiver can dump it on herself. This is no more cruel than bathing a dog.

The smell on a pig farm is horrible I lived down south for 35 years and when we go through the country I have a towel I spray with perfume until we pass the hog farms and plants! I’ll never get used to that smell or the turkey plant o farms hell the chicken farms also!! It takes days to get that smell out of your nose!🤢🤢

PEOPLE should CALM DOWN.. THIS IS NOT A COMMERCIAL FARM by any means... it looks like a simple farm in another country (maybe the Philippines ...ETC.) I doubt this pig is in there permanently ..she's just in there for all of them to get a shower... they probably don't have the hose .The girl isn't wasting water either she's getting everybody including herself showered at the same time 👍
