and some of us? addiction runs very deep unfortunately. I will abuse the hell out of anything, and I don't just mean substances or alcohol or nothing like that. for example going to the gym. I made the decision to start working out when I was 34 years old. it didn't matter if I was hungover, if I had any sleep, if one of my friends had an event. I would just go to the gym. I would even cancel things that were important, to go. I think addicts are just wired differently. I will be fighting all my addictions for the rest of my life but fortunately I've managed to stop abusing substances for 6 years now. but I know I'm an addict and I have to really watch myself and be careful.
