I immensely dislike When two people in who understand, English talk l another language in front of me.. Chinese takeouts do this all the time. they say something and then he looks at you on his chef and starts laughing. I mean you'd have to be a rocket scientist to figure out they said something negative about your complaint.

I used to do collections in Spanish. The people I would call were nice and then when I mentioned collections, they suddenly didn't speak English. So I would speak Spanish to them. They realized I could fluently speak both and they'd hang up on me all the time. LOL
And they forget that blacks rule the carribean. Plenty speak Spanish!

This happened in Houston at a family dollar, when the people ahead of him, asked the cashier why were they putting certain items behind the counter. Both were Hispanic, but the gentleman behind them clearly understood what the cashier was saying about black people he pulled out his camera and started recording. Then he started addressing the cashier. She was fired, and FD did a public apology 👍🤔
happened to me in palmdale, ca. at a workforce site. i was asking questions about follow up and the job related events happening there. as I was walking out, one girl said in her conversation 'son bruto'. i turned around and said what did you say. she said nothing and that she was talking to the other girl. in spanish, I told her I may not look like a latin american but Im a black man at 6'2', 250lbs, bald head and can speak spanish. she would do good to remember that!then walked out.

My granddaughter experiences the same thing because she looks more Black than Latino(Peruvian) The other grandmother is Afro Latino but says I no BLACK 🙄, I digress… my granddaughter tells me Nah-Nah speaking Spanish is my super power because they’re always shocked when l busted out speaking Spanish fluently and check them!!!
