Luckily it appears that storm door held most of the weight until that moved n thats when it slowly fell down onto the child. who by the way wasnt even crying. he was wheining n scared. Thank you to the quick response of the delivery driver everything turned out just fine.

I noticed alot of people aren't saying anything about the parents being irresponsible by not being within view or earshot is his pleasure for help.

WHO in their right mind would ever ever let a small child open the door for ANYTHING alone?? My kids opened it IF I or dad was right there. Don't blame a delivery person for something he did not do! He stood the package upright, have you ever tried to lift one if flat on porch or ground??

Thats a new level of lazy. Is it not enough that you don't have to leave your house to go shopping? Just let your under 10y/o go retrieve all the packages so neither parent has to leven eave the bed/couch/sofa. The driver didnt hear his first couple of scream and he still beat them to his rescue. Sad & sorry

Why would you send a child that small outside after someone rings the bell in the first place. It could鈥檝e been a fake UPS driver there to rob you . I鈥檓 not understanding. And yes, I鈥檝e heard of cases where robbers have imitated delivery people.

I'll say it that the driver needs a raise that man deserves praise for what he did that boy could have something bad happened to him if the driver wasn't paying attention I know the parents should have been there but me as a parent of seven there's always a time that them kids get away from you and they can't be held 100% responsible but at least 90%
