FOR THE RECORD, THAT WAS HIS PERSONAL TRUCK. IT WAS TOTALED. HOWEVER, A GOFUNDME WAS STARTED FOR HIM, NOT ONLY DID HE GET A BRAND NEW RIG. HE WAS ABLE TO DONATE MONEY BACK TO HIS COMMUNITY. AND THAT'S WHAT I HERO DOES.
If his boss doesn’t fire him his insurance company will. Just hope he lets the public know what happens so we the public can should our disapproval of their action against a truck driver hero.
And the Truck driver's boss says you are fired. Cynical ain't I? I am 71 years old. My experiences in life.

lol, now he is unemployed and being sued by the insurance company and the fleeing suspect.
The cops will screw the driver by saying he intentionally pull in front of the fleeing pickup stopping the chase but there will be no insurance paying the truck damage and the driver will get fired for purposly causing an accident

I’m calling you out! I’ve been driving a truck for 47 years and that did not total that truck even though it’s a cheap ass Volvo! Hood is $10,000 fender another 2700 suspension another 3500 alignment another two grand and a wheel on the tire and brake components so if that totaled his truck it must’ve been an old old Volvo with a lot of damn miles but I’m glad he did what he did! there was no way in the world he would get hurt even if that car ran into his diesel tank it might catch fire, but that still gave him plenty of time to get out
can he sue the truck driver for cutting him off and causing that accident?
