It's nerve racking to see all the people correct the spelling on these reels. Stop it !! You understood what they were talking about. I have accidentally misspelled words at times. Some of you are like vultures trying to look perfect. You come on here just to point out others mistakes. It's called nitpicking.

It's mooring rope used on docks to tie off ships or large boats. It hangs in the water for so long that mussels attach to it and this is the result of many years in the ocean waters at a dock or marina.

I love mussels ! They are almost as good as oysters but half the price ! I buy them in 2 bags 2 lbs each for about 4.50 total.Makes good oyster stew even great seafood soup or just heat some in microwave with Old Bay garlic/ lemon pepper sprinkled over top in a bowl its also good to melt some butter or marg in a sauce cup & fix another one with cocktail sauce.Microwave mussels about 2 to 3 min until they pop open then she'll & dip in melted butter & cocktail sauce .It's very good!!
