Why is he letting his wife pick out the meat. She’s clueless
Fresh meat is always in the bottom the put the old ones on the top that’s how they rotate them out
the bottom sat the longest so how is it the freshest? what if they just put new ones on top and the bottom sits?
They must be rich
That’s a fact
Or the front
🤔
I work in a grocery store and we always put the new on the bottom
cheaper prices for the same meat
Well yk when they restock they put the new meat ontop of the one you just put back so your not doing yourself any good
OK to educate everybody a lot of times people pick some up and ride it around in their buggy and leave it at the checkout or on the shelf somewhere and employees Will just take it and stick it back on top of the meat so you’ve got meat that’s been out of the refrigeration for quite a while I always get from bottom or further back now you know🥹
I personally look for the ones I like best.
The ones on the bottom should be the coldest and isn’t sitting exposed to as much warm air as the top layer is . 🤔
That's Costco...I have never seen anyone bring out newly packaged meats and switching already staged meats on the top...they just stack em up and go back to question their life choices...
I only shuffle for more/less fat, marble, thickness for my preference and I put them back from where I got them. I worked at BJ’s, the meats flew out of the cases. FIFO was their policy. Not much rotation when the cases empty within a 2-3 hour period. If you’re afraid of the store’s freshness procedures, shop somewhere else. Duh.
So if the employees are rotating then all the picky as shoppers are rotating how do you know wtf you’re getting. Just grab some damn meat
actually for the best steaks go for the ones that about to be thrown away
Some stores don’t even rotate stock as they should
This ain’t China. Everything is the same
Never grab from the front or top because when food that has been left out is put back on the shelf, it is placed in the front. Also, meat on the bottom is colder than the meat on top. The same applies to food in the freezer. People open freezer doors a lot, and the food in the front gets warmer than food stored in the back.
Meat is not like produce, get the best cut and check the weight, they’re all different.
I bet the dates are the same
Jokes on you. I take the ones on the bottom and put them on the top. Suckers.
most of the box places that meat was all put out the same day
that's what we want you to think as a butcher
Yes. or get it from the back, never in front
I usually go for marbeling and quality cuts
It’s a woman thing
You literally placed your phone to record this. Desperate for attention. My gosh
employees to laze to rotate stock to buzzy.to do it
like grabbing from the back the fresher is put last
I alwayz take from the bottom or the ones behind it . I take it to if not expired. . Also I take it if the covers aren't ripped/ torn /. have holes in them have no damages & other reasons too.
grabbing from the top has nothing to do with it I've seen a guy and a girl shop and while the girl was picking the apples the guy would get the same apples from the bag and she would look at the Apple and grab another Apple but they were the same Apples she chose
I get the meat pack in the middle of the stack. I look at the prices and choose the lowest price for my budget. I look at the meat to make the meat has red color. Any meat with brown or turning another color with dry blood inside the meat, I will not but. Good luck shopping in the grocery stores. Also look at the expiration dates also. Thank you.🤔👍
I’ll grab him yumm
Neither know what they looking for anyway
eff that, go for the marbling!
Eventually, the Top gets to the Bottom.
Those are almost 2" THICK NY STRIP. bro sear mine on each side for 5 min. then wrap and put on with butter and garlic with thyme wrapped in aluminum foil for another 8 min on each side. Sorry got carried away😂
no the older goes on top and the newer is on the bottom. I worked in grocery. . you have to rotate.
Yeah, but when somebody does that, the bottom is gonna be the top one eventually
It’s not that big of a deal 😂 you’re right but it’s really probably fine no need to put it back and grab THE SAME THING 😭
Don’t pass on the aged meat.
I didn't know that either
That’s my girl exactly!! That’s why it’s faster if I go shopping alone!!😆
Not clueless FIFO! First in First out freshest meat is on the bottom … duh
bottoms fresher
im suprised the cat still alive or is it 🧐
It’s all the same to me but good job you did your big one
Lmao I get a bread isle because the bad bread is always in the front. But with steak really? 😂
This is dumb
Go to the butcher instead.
My wife does this too me all the time guys brains just don’t work that way we’re all about grab and go
