Honestly. if this skit were real, the woman would deserve a fight. She is so disrespectful of a fellow veteran. Served in theater or not, one serves where they are ordered to serve. To denigrate a veteran for not being in combat, sends a bad message to all veterans

I may be wrong but I feel as though all branches of the military should be respected the same. my dad was air force, my grandfather/ husband were Navy. my husband is a veteran. of course he was out to sea and was not in combat directly, hes still a veteran because he was willing to risk his life. hes no less than anyone else serving but yet theres people that say hes not a TRUE vet because he wasnt there. and now I want to watch this movie geeeeez!

I don鈥檛 like this exchange because the vast majority of people who serve respect everyone that鈥檚 serves . Pilots hold the crew and mechanics that service their aircraft in extremely high regard and all roles in service are in fact service . This exchange denigrates anyone that serves and this show or movie is not worth watching based on this clip alone .
Whether the service was done during peace time or war, it was done to protect this country. All deserve our respect.

I hate how they glamorize women.
I was in for 6 years - all peace time. But never have I had a soldier who saw combat give me shit about it. I've had some of them even thank me for my service (which I felt a little embarrassed about). Fellow soldiers always just treat you as a brother no matter what.

spent 14 months in Germany during the Vietnam War. don't regret being spared. My younger brother enlisted at 17. Had a similar MOS, he was spared by a compassionate First Sargent who told him, "I'm not sending one more 17 year old to Vietnam. We're still vets, just fortunate ones.
Yes, on my second tour to Iraq, I had keep correcting the SGM ON procedures for convoing. also they kept telling us to wear a kpot or the baseball cap and bounies were forbidden..so I got our PA doc to give me a profile for the bouny. the SGM, DID NOT LIKE THAT. HE WAS OT GOV WALZ, we have a lot of ignornt SGMS in army guard.
