Are you an economist? Tariffs are directly passed down to the consumer pookie! The businesses convey those prices to the consumer in order to cover their overhead costs. Let us know how you think it actually works because your first assertion is completely wrong!!!!

Well, then, who pays the tariff? Trump puts a 30% tariff on, let's say toilet paper. The company that produced the toilet paper has to raise its prices by 30% in order to not lose money. You go to the store and realize the price has gone up. Your grocery store had to pay more to get toilet paper. The store can't lose money so they increase the price by 30%. You but the toilet paper with the 30% higher price. Who paid the tariff? You did!!!!!!!!!!!

If these figures were true then Trump would be bragging about the jobs report, the GDP and the inflation report and he would be posting them as proof. Instead he has done exactly the opposite. As for the stock market, it is being bolstered by his rich billionaire buddies.

Inflation doesn’t rise at the same rate as a tariff because it’s an average of all prices in the economy, so saying it "should be 10%'" is simply false. Strong GDP or stock performance also doesn’t prove tariffs aren’t raising costs... markets can grow even while specific goods get more expensive. Your statement mixes unrelated metrics to imply tariffs have no consumer impact, which is simply not true at all.
You can spew anything you want but Tariffs are paid by the tax payer, when we buy from China they are already paid then it's imported to the US and we pay the tariffs those costs are passed on the the people , you need a lesson in economics.
