some of us gen xers were out of the house before we were 18 and we worked our butts off to stay that way. and yes we stayed up until 2:00 in the morning and then got up at 6:00 in the morning to go to work. and yes it phased us very little. 😂

Shit I drank all weekend went to work in a brick factory in Corinth Mississippi in the summer at 3am sobered up around 6am hungover around 6:15am and didn’t think anything of it.

Thing is, most of us had jobs by the time we were in HS. So we were doing this from the age of 14 so by the time we were able to go to the bars we were experts in staying up all night drinking and going to work the next morning lol
I still go out with the guys, drink till 5am get home put on a pot of coffee wake the kid up at 6 get him off to school then open the shop and get to work and I'm in my 60s. The guys can't figure me out...lol

And that's all Real. I left home at 12. my parents finally found me a year later and emancipated my Ass. and from then on I was on a mission. I'm 60 years old now and I look back on it all and still can't figure out how I'm still alive. but I am. and I'm still not a sniveler. and boy do I have some memories and stories.people just look at me.. like what?? no way.

Straight facts drink all day drink all night sleep for 2 to 3 hours. Go to work then do it all over again these kids nowadays wow they get drunk and are down for 3 to 4 days but that’s what happens when you have no responsibility because mommy and daddy pays your bills.
