Lots different than my days. Welding wires to gas pipes. You would get a Caldwell shot. Pour it into a graphite mold with a handle you had to hold over the pipe and hit the spark igniter.

we sell3 those, contractors call them caddy shots. they actually weld the ground cables or rods or rebar together versus just tying off or using a mechanical connection.

I have copper drian and sewage pipes and for the last couple years when take a bath id feel burning and if I had a sore it would really irritate it. if there was moisture on the walls you couldn't touch without getting shocked, then in December I had a power outage from underground wire short. After running new underground wiring to the house I don't have the water burning me and im not getting shocked anymore.
