Bruh back in 2001 I did setups and spotted trailers at the Kelly tire plant in Tyler tx. The setup was i would tell shipping the trailer number and which door it was in. I would assign guys the doors and trailer to load.Spotting is just putting trailers in doors using the truck. Well I got the bright Idea I was gonna make extra money loading trailers myself. Bruh it only took one time and never again did I load another trailer that's some work. I had guys that could load trailers in 2 1/2 hours fully load them. It paid $100 a trailer hardest 100 I ever made

If he has a no touch load as a over the road driver he isn't responsible for off loading..just delivering.

The point is the Broker has already been paid for the trip which includes unloading. They always try to rip the drive/o/o off. They know “Lumpers” fees are included in the rate but they try to keep $$’s for themselves.

I did that one time where I was over at Chevron. I was there temping for 3 days and believe you me that is some brutal ass work yanking those tires out and taking them in to stack them up. I totally understand what that trucker was feeling like.

I drive the Hilo for a tire company it takes at least 3-4 guys to unload those onto racks, it's about 600-800 tires, but it's a old guy he's in shape he offloads those trucks by himself 3 trucks a day then he goes home and gets paid for a whole shift

People saying they can do this by themselves you can’t just roll the tires off the truck you have to stack them up that would take 8 hours to do by yourself and you better be in shape
