Looks like they're on the Bush River. Grew up boating on that river and yep, those Amtrak trains with scare the bejesus out of you if you don't know it's coming. Especially under the bridge either boating or on the shoreline fishing.
Trains have to signal and bridge is suppose to have flashing lights

People think you can hear a train coming. You can’t; not until it’s practically on top of you. You first hear the rails “singing” and less than two seconds later you hear the train and it is on you.
