She has a right if her religious beliefs conflict with what they're teaching to leave the class but equally the instructor has the right to give her a zero as her grade. And I hate to tell her this but the president of the United States does not make laws. Only the Congress of the United States can make laws They have to pass both houses after then be signed by the president and no such legislation has been passed some states have been doing it on their own which appellate courts have declared unconstitutional. It's like some people's religion teaches that evolution is wrong and therefore students with that belief don't take classes that teach evolution. That is freedom of religion. nowhere does that give anyone a right to stand up in the middle of a classroom and denounce what they see as against their religion. And if she put one more um in it I would assume that she doesn't belong in college anyway
