Yeah, this really did happen to me and the gentleman was a very obese man, was literally in my seat and his. I was on the aisle too and I'm small, so I sat down and we didn't touch, well just a very little. So, I kinda squeeze my legs together and we both fit. I could see the worry on his face when I walked up and I didn't see the need to make him feel any worse. I have big people in my family so I know how they struggle.

You should expect To be shoved into a row like a can of sardines. Coach is a no scenes area. You want to be priss, you need to pay for it. Travel around S.E. Asia sometime and you'll see how bad it is being 6 ft tall on flights. A flight attendant came to me and had me sit in the emergency isle next to her jump seat. Awwww much better. I shared my chocolates with her as she pointed at landmarks over Ho Chi Mihn City.
