there's no loop hole. The soda machines have to be calibrated so that they Dispense the proper amount of syrup, water, and Co2. It basically chemistry. All 3 of those are separate from each other before passing thru those nossels, mixing together, making your soft drink. if they are not calibrated properly then you will get too much or too little of any on of those 3 things, and it won't taste right.

Not water, the clear liquid is carbonated water. While the colored liquid is the syrup for the Carbonated beverage.

What a foolish thread. Nobody is tampering with the dispensing valve. The first clip is someone checking the syrup ratio with a brix cup. The 2nd video shows a syrup separator being put on the valve. The 3rd video shows someone positioning the cup to get more syrup than soda water. This won't work. The diffuser in the valve allows syrup to be dispensed equally around the circumference of the diffuser. The only way to change the flow of syrup coming out is via the flow control on the valve. Having spent 45 years installing and repairing fountain dispensing equipment made me chuckle while watching this.
